Ai Pin Recipient of Red Dot Design Award 2024.
Humane’s first product wins “Best of the Best” for Product Design.
Humane is proud to announce that Ai Pin has been awarded the Red Dot: Best of the Best 2024, the highest distinction in the competition for the Red Dot Award: Product Design in the “Innovative Products” category.
The Red Dot Jury, encompassing 40 international experts, evaluates each entry individually, awarding submissions that exhibit outstanding design, including aesthetic appeal, function, sustainability or innovative characteristics.
Describing Ai Pin, the jury said “this new wearable, with its amazing features and extremely compact design, has the potential to be a true ‘game changer’.” They highlighted Ai Pin’s various hardware design elements including the overall aesthetic of the wearable technology and the Trust Light that signals camera use, as well as AI-powered features like voice translation and contextual understanding. The judges noted, “The developers have redefined the use of AI technology,” and “Ai Pin is changing the way we interact with electronic products. It represents a giant leap forward in the use of AI and also boasts a particularly sleek and aesthetic design.”
Red Dot’s recognition of Ai Pin’s design by Imran Chaudhri and the Humane Design Team is an important accolade for Humane as a design-led company. “We're honoured by Red Dot's recognition of Ai Pin's design and engineering. This special milestone reflects our team's dedication to exploring what's possible in wearable AI and energises all of us to continue developing technology that seamlessly integrates into everyday life,” said Imran Chaudhri. Ai Pin is included in the Winners section of the Red Dot website.
