About The Role
Humane is redefining the relationship between humans and technology. The Partnerships Team is at the forefront of this revolution, shaping core device experiences, accelerating sales and distribution, and forging strategic alliances that will define the future of our industry.
As a Strategic Partnerships Lead, you will be a key player in this transformative journey. You will work directly with C-suite leadership, collaborating across functions to negotiate high-impact partnerships across diverse areas:
- Core Device Experiences: Integrate cutting-edge technologies (e.g., LLMs, software services, consumer experiences) into our device ecosystem
- Sales & Distribution: Secure strategic partnerships to expand market reach and drive device adoption
- Enterprise Solutions: Develop and negotiate partnerships that bring Humane's innovative technology to the enterprise sector
- Developer Ecosystem: Cultivate a thriving community of developers building on the Cosmos SDK, driving innovation and expanding our platform's capabilities
- International Expansion: Collaborate with carriers, technology providers, and consumer services to introduce Humane products to global markets
- Partner Marketing: Create and execute co-marketing initiatives with leading brands to elevate awareness and drive demand
What You Might Do
- Forge Strategic Alliances: Lead end-to-end negotiations with diverse partners (e.g., technology providers, consumer brands, enterprise organizations) to drive product integration, market expansion, subscriber growth, and developer engagement
- Shape Product & Platform Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to define the product roadmap, identify key partnership opportunities, and develop integrated go-to-market strategies
- Navigate Complex Landscapes: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Legal) to navigate technical, legal, and business complexities, ensuring successful partnership execution
Essential Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, or a similar role, with a proven track record of negotiating complex partnerships
- Experience working with technical teams (Product, Engineering) and legal counsel to negotiate agreements with technical deliverables
- Strong relationship-building skills at all levels, both internally and externally
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Proactive, self-starter mentality with a passion for partnerships, brand building, and creating magical consumer experiences
Preferred Skills
- Experience negotiating with or for major consumer or enterprise technology companies
- Complementary experience in product management
- Deep understanding of the latest trends in culture, business, and technology
- Industry experience in enterprise sales, consumer software, app store developer ecosystems, or telecommunications
Salary: $190,000- $238,500
Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)
- The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills
