About The Role
As a Senior Camera Engineer, you will bring subject matter expertise to develop the camera stack for the Humane Ai Pin. You will write software to bring-up and validate camera software, from device drivers to platform APIs. As part of the System Software team, you will be responsible for everything between the hardware and the higher level software. This role will involve hands-on technical ownership of the camera software stack.
What You Might Do
- Develop novel camera features
- Provide input into camera-related features for our product roadmap
- Iterate on ISP tuning to improve image quality
- Optimize power and latency metrics for cameras
- Evaluate and prototype future optical technology
Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with cameras in an embedded system
- 7+ years writing C++ code for embedded systems
- 2+ years of experience leading technical projects with minimal oversight
- Strong communication skills to communicate across technical and non-technical roles
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with camera vendors
- Familiarity with Android frameworks
- Familiarity with ISP tuning
Salary range: $185,000 - $240,000
